Refurbishment of the reception and bar/lounge of the Best Western hotel in this popular commercial area of Newcastle upon Tyne. As part of the refurbishment, the reception area and lounge/bar were completely reconfigured to provide more direct access and greater appeal to casual walk-ins and hotel residents. Through the use of a warm colour palette and a considered use of textures and lighting, we created a welcoming and inviting ambience. A new bar was also designed. The development has since allowed the client to upgrade their offer and compete more effectively within the vibrant local hospitality sector.
